As part of Florida’s innovative Farm to Fuel program, headed by the Florida State Department of Agriculture’s Charles Bronson, the State of Florida will present a series of alternative fuel vehicles from various manufactures such as CHEVROLET and FORD to the public. The purpose is to highlight automotive programs aimed at reducing emissions as well as the Farm to Fuel Program.
Hybrid Technologies featured the all-lithium Smart Car produced for NASA at the NATIONAL GOVERNORS SUMMIT ON ALTERNATIVE ENERGY IN TAMPA. This is part of a Government Program initiated by Hybrid to expand its National presence among US Political figures.
The all-lithium NASA Smart Car has a range of more than 120 miles per charge at highway speeds with a planned 30 kWh battery pack on board.
With a 3,000W charger recharging will take approximately 10 hours at full discharge. An optional 5,000W charger will reduce that to 6 hours.
Hybrid Technologies Smart is developed using an advanced AC drive system.
